Ryoko Suzuki, a Japanese-based artist examines the hyper-sexualization common in “Manga” or popular Japanese animations. Within each of her surrealist photographs, Suzuki takes on the role of the seductive teen girls meant to entice older male viewers. By doing this, she visually express her discontent with such depictions of Japanese girls. The featured photos are from the series ANIKORA-SEIFUKU, check out her website to view the rest.
