Because I’m known to categorize my life and make randomly-shuffled, over-exhausted playlists that go with each mood, I figured I’d share the habit with you hungry kids. Introducing “THE PLAYLIST”, which has the potential of becoming a weekly feature if I get enough requests for it. Themed, organized, FREE and certifiably dope music? Doesn’t get much easier.

This week I wanted to highlight the lyricism that has the potential to paint canvases in our minds. Storytelling started as oral tradition before we used ink to make it more tangible, which makes its practice seem like a forgotten art. If that is the case, consider the MCs that use their verses to tell stories as the resurrectors and guardians of it. Welcome to your harddrives “The Storytellers Playlist”, which features some ill verses that have an incredible amount of momentum to help you get a little lost. After all, who can bring a narrative to life better than its creator? So download, roll up a dutchie, sit back and let the lyricism build the world behind your eyes.
